COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City Mayor Ryan Daniel is opening the doors of the city for residents to explore the works of their government.
“The open house will give citizens an opportunity to see and physically touch their tax dollars at work,” Daniel said. “We see this as a great way to showcase how we are trying to keep up with our citizen growth, while stretching the dollar a little farther.”
The open house will be held Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at all facilities, which are located throughout the city.
The Municipal Services Facility (MSF), Water Pollution Control Facility, Water Treatment Plant, Morsches Park Office and City Hall will all be open during that time for the community to tour.
