FRIGID FIRE: Possible gas leak leads to blaze at Viking Products

COLUMBIA CITY — Crews spent nearly five hours battling a blaze at a Whitley County factory Monday morning.

According to Whitley County Emergency Management Director Cathy Broxon-Ball, all nine Whitley County fire departments, along with three departments in Allen County, responded to a fire at Viking Products.

The company, which builds after-market exhaust products, is located on East Business 30, near the intersection with U.S. 30.
