Garrett Combs, Jr.

Garrett (Gary) Combs, Jr., former resident of South Whitley, went to be with the Lord Jan. 12, 2013 at his home in Dearing, Ga. He graduated from South Whitley High School with the Class of 1970.
He was born May 17, 1951, in Hazard, Ky., son of Garrett and Loretta Combs.
Surviving relatives include his beloved wife, Glennis; mother, Loretta of Fort Wayne; son, Scottie of Columbia City; daughters, Kelli (Kyle) Quick Crenshaw of Thomson, Ga. and Monti Mender Elliot of Thomson, Ga.; brothers, Larry (Christina) of Roanoke and Bruce of Huntington; sister, Carolyn (Dave) Jones of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Malorie Brown, Garrett Brown and his special little partner, Branson Elliot; several nieces, nephews and friends as well as his dearest friend, Kevin Vergon.
He was preceded in death by his father Garrett Combs.
His final internment will be at Nolt Cemetery, Whitley County, at a later date.
