Florence Fetters, 93

Florence Leora Fetters, 93, of Kimmell, passed away at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.
Born February 12, 1920, in Aldridge, Ala., she was the daughter of James C. and Florence L. (Jones) Key.
She was born and raised in Alabama and in 1962 moved to Indiana. On Aug. 29, 1962, she married Robert S. Fetters. She and her late husband lived on a 94 acre farm in Washington Township, Noble County.
She was a homemaker and also employed as a factory worker in the 60s and 70s for Brunswick Boat Company, Warsaw, until her retirement. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving relatives include her three sons, Dwight David Kimbrell of Cromwell, Gary Joe (Vicky) Kimbrell of Columbia City and Phillip Ray Fetters of Cromwell; grandson, Bryan Searfoss of Canada; granddaughter, Amanda Ream of Columbia City; great-grandchildren, Shona Lee Searfoss and Brenna Sue both of Milford, Brandon Searfoss of Warsaw, Madison, Blake and Collin Ream all of Columbia City; brothers and sisters, Doris Robinson of Jasper, Ala., J.B. Key of Parrish, Ala., Bois M. Key of Parrish, Ala., Walter H. Key of Birmingham, Ala. Edna Sue Bucholsky of Bell Gardens, Calif., Bobby Lee Key of Parrish, Ala., Billie Ruth Green of Sale Creek, Tenn. and Wilson Key.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert S. Fetters; sisters, Betty J. Gurganus and Mary A. Johnston.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery, Wilmot.
Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Fetters to the family for final expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
