COLUMBIA CITY â€“ Whitley County Health Department officials were called out Wednesday to investigate two apartments that had flooded at Park Terrace Apartments.
According to apartment residents, a water line had broken and while crews were working to repair the break, the apartments flooded.
Scott Wagner, the countyâ€™s environmental health specialist, was on site to assess what health hazards might be present due to the flooding.
â€śWe did have some people concerned that it was unsafe and unsanitary,â€ť Wagner said.
