Fitness frenzy

Northern Heights Elementary School is working on it’s fitness challenge, which began Monday.

A one-mile school-wide run/walk around the school grounds launched the challenge. A convocation with the Mad Ants, Fort Wayne’s professional basketball team, was held where students were challenged to be active for 30 minutes a day, for 30 days.

Those students reaching the goal will receive a free ticket to a Mad Ants game.

“Go Mad Ants...Go NHES students,” said Jake Hoag, NHES principal.
