FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE: Children see what 4-H Fair is all about

COLUMBIA CITY — Brooke Laux, 2014 Miss Whitley County, donned her sparkling tiara while playing with Mini 4-Hers Wednesday. With the help of her court, Brooke Pettigrew and Amelia Roman, the group of excited children were split into three groups for a variety of games.
For generations, Whitley County 4-H has sponsored the Mini 4-H program to help children, kindergarten through second grade, get an idea of what project they would like to participate in when they become 4-Hers.
