Elsa Marie Rodriguez-Kahn, 50, of Fort Wayne, was called home after a courageous battle with cancer Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at home with her family by her side. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She worked at G.M. in the human resources department as a benefits representative.
“Everything we ever needed to know you instilled in us. Thank you, mom,”said her children.

She is survived by her children, Erica (Michael) Koehler, Nick Kahn and Nina Kahn all of Fort Wayne; parents, Ramiro and Ygnacia Rodriguez of Fort Wayne; brother, Alejandro Rodriguez; sisters, Rita and Karla Rodriguez and five sweet granddaughters, Elsa, Avriel, Kiera, Avalon and Persephone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd., with calling one hour prior.

Viewing is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., with a vigil service at 3:45 p.m. with Fr. Tim Wrozek. She will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens.
