Elks name Boggs as 'Citizen of the Year'

COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City Elks Lodge #1417 recently named Otto Boggs its Citizen of the Year. In addition to Boggs’ award, the lodge also presented its year-end awards to their officers and members.

The Citizen of the Year honor is given to a local Columbia City citizen who has given themselves in service to the community.

Columbia City Elks Lodge Exalter Ruler Denny Grable awarded Boggs the award for his commitment and dedication in helping those less fortunate.

“The officers and members of Columbia City Elks Lodge #1417 appreciate the effort and hard work of citizens like Mr. Boggs, and his commitment to this community,” said lodge leaders.
