Columbia City’s baseball team fell to East Noble Wednesday night with a close score of 6-5.

In the top of the first inning, an error on the Eagles’ part allowed the Knights to score a run and take the lead.

The second inning remained scoreless, as both teams kept the other from reaching home plate.

In the top of the third inning, two base hits from East Noble put players at first and second base. Then the Knights hit a home run, scoring three.

East Noble kept the Eagles from scoring in the rest of the third inning, but the fourth frame proved to be rewarding for Columbia City.
