Eagles drop NECC contest

ANGOLA — Churubusco’s baseball team was shut out on the road against Angola Tuesday.

The Hornets defeated the Eagles by a final score of 5-0. Churubusco ran into a hot pitcher in the NECC contest, as Angola’s starter tossed a three-hitter.

Leading ‘Busco at the plate was Logan Harris, who smacked two of the team’s three hits. Jordan Howell got the other one.
