Eagle golf suffers losses

Saturday’s Wawasee Invitational, Columbia City’s boys golf team suffered a two-stroke loss to Carroll Monday night, 153-155.

The Eagles placed sixth in the Wawasee Invite behind Northwood, Culver Military, Northridge, Wawasee, Homestead and Plymouth, with a score of 343 on 18 holes.

The Eagles were led by Tyler Green and Spencer Klimek who both finished the day with 81 strokes.

Cameron Slavich scored an 88, followed by Trent Murphy with a 93 and Matt Benedict with a 98.
