Dunham’s slated to open Friday

COLUMBIA CITY — Dunham’s Sports, the Midwest’s largest sporting goods retailer, recently announced its plans to hold a grand opening for the new Columbia City location.

Residents of Columbia City and surrounding communities are invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted Friday at 9 a.m. at the new Towne and Country Center, 496 W. Plaza Dr., Columbia City.

Store hours will be Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The first 100 adults in line Friday will receive a Dunham’s Sports T-shirt.

Also on Friday, there will be free six-packs of Coke or Diet Coke for anyone making a $10 purchase, while supplies last.

The first 100 adults on Saturday will receive a Dunham’s Sports baseball cap. Sunday, the first 50 people in line will receive a 410 Dunham’s Sports gift card.
