COLUMBIA CITY — Two people were arrested and booked at the Whitley County Jail Wednesday after police discovered an active methamphetamine lab.

Braidon Hall, 19, of Columbia City, and Mitchell Bradley, 37, of Garrett, were both booked on meth-related charges after a traffic stop led to a police investigation at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Columbia City Police Captain Tony Hively stopped their vehicle near the intersection of Ind. 205 and Cider Mill Road, and uncovered an active meth lab.

According to the Whitley County Drug Task Force, Hall and Bradley were in the process of starting another one-pot lab in a soda bottle, but the process was stopped short due to Hively’s traffic stop.
