Dave Partin, 62, a resident of Churubusco, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at the home of his mother in Churubusco. He had been in failing health since March.
Mr. Partin was born in Middlesboro, Ky. July 15, 1948. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
The surviving relatives include his daughters Maryann Grimes, Cayla Coy, and Victoria “Tori” Partin; his mother, Victoria Teague; two sisters, Sheila Teague and Delores Markham; five brothers, Jerry Partin, Larry Teague, Kevin Teague, Doug Teague and John Teague.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Timothy Grable, pastor of Sugar Grove Church of God, officiating. Military honors will be by the U. S. Army funeral detail and the Freedom Riders.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
Private family burial will be on Friday at the Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco.
