COLUMBIA CITY â A Larwill man facing charges for meth manufacturing and child molestation had his bond revoked by Whitley County Circuit Court Judge James Heuer Monday due to a failed drug test.
Dean Pressler, 39, who was charged in late December and early January, posted bond for his two cases.
The state filed a motion Feb. 25 to revoke Presslerâs bond due to a failed drug test.
Brad Voelz and Al Anzini, Presslerâs attorneys, argued that the results of the drug test were confidential.
On that basis, they could not be used to revoke Presslerâs bond.
Heuer issued his own order on the matter.
âGo immediately to probation for a drug test,â he instructed Pressler. âIf it is clean, you are released. If not, you are ordered into custody.â
Pressler failed the drug test and was booked back into the Whitley County Jail.
He is ordered to stand trial for both sets of charges May 21 at 9 a.m.
Earl Suver was also in court Monday on a probation violation.
