IN COURT: Nimtz pleads guilty to sex crimes

COLUMBIA CITY — A man accused of holding a 13-year-old girl by force and having her commit a sexual act with him pleaded guilty Monday.

Dustin A. Nimtz, 19, admitted his guilt to all six charges against him. The plea agreement Nimtz signed stated he would be sentenced concurrently for all six charges, but all other aspects of sentencing would be at the court’s discretion. The sentencing range for Nimtz will be 20 to 50 years.
He will be sentenced Tuesday, April 29 at 8 a.m. in Whitley County Circuit Court.

Nimtz pleaded guilty to burglary, criminal deviate conduct, child molesting, attempted rape, intimidation and strangulation. The first four charges are Class A felonies, intimidation a Class C felony and strangulation a Class D felony.
