COLUMBIA CITY â€” Whitley County Republicans gathered for a candidate forum Saturday at Columbia Cityâ€™s Church of the Nazarene.
A packed fellowship hall was a reflection of Republican Party leader Matt Boydâ€™s description of the upcoming primary election Ââ€” crucial.
â€śThis is a great turnout,â€ť Boyd said. â€śI am pleased to see so many Republicans here to learn about those vying for the election.â€ť
Primary election day is May 6 and will offer Republicans several contested races.
