Constituents’ questions addressed

COLUMBIA CITY — Whitley County Republicans gathered for a candidate forum Saturday at Columbia City’s Church of the Nazarene.

A packed fellowship hall was a reflection of Republican Party leader Matt Boyd’s description of the upcoming primary election ­— crucial.

“This is a great turnout,” Boyd said. “I am pleased to see so many Republicans here to learn about those vying for the election.”

Primary election day is May 6 and will offer Republicans several contested races.
