Columbia City girls basketball falls to Dwenger

COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City’s Lady Eagle basketball team fell to 2-5 Thursday after a loss to Bishop Dwenger.
Coumbia City lost to the Lady Saints by a score of 49-41.
Dwenger took an early 8-0 lead and continued the output.
It wasn’t until Emily Whiteleather hit one of two free throws with under five minutes to go in the first quarter that Columbia City was on the scoreboard.
“Our slow start in the first quarter didn’t help us,” said Lady Eagle Head Coach Amy Shearer.
