Col. City tennis downs Norwell

Columbia City’s girls tennis team topped Northeast Hoosier Conference foe Norwell Monday night in a close, 3-2, competition.

The Lady Eagles picked up wins in No. 2 singles and both doubles matches.
In No. 2 singles, Aubrey Wright battled through a long match.
After winning 6-4 in the first set, Wright fell 6-4 in the second. In the long, 7-6 (9-7) final set, Wright came out on top for the win.
