Col. City linksters nab NHC win

COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City’s girls golf team survived a last-minute change of venue to defeat New Haven Thursday at Eagle Glen Golf Course.

After an 0-3 conference start, the Lady Eagles got their first Northeast Hoosier Conference victory of the year against the visiting Lady Bulldogs.

Columbia City outshot New Haven 192-210.

Taylor Daniel led the way for the Lady Eagles, carding a 46.
