COESSE COMMUNITY: Lending a helping hand

Members of the Coesse community are collecting money and donations for a family that lost nearly all of its belongings in a house fire on Barr Street last week. Two people died in the fire, Robert McKenzie and Rick Niemann. According to fire officials, McKenzie escaped the fire, but went back into the home to rescue Niemann and perished. See Page A3 for McKenzie’s obituary. Collection cans, such as the one pictured above, are located at several gas stations in Whitley County.
