City still awaits 205 Project

COLUMBIA CITY — A project in Columbia City that was expected to be completed in 2012 is now not expected to begin until late 2014.

Officials are continuing to move forward with the slow process to urbanize Ind. 205.

The road reconstruction project, dubbed the “205 Project” was a dream of former Columbia City Mayor Jim Fleck and Parkview Whitley Hospital’s John Meister — a venture that began five years ago.
