Christian Yahr

Christian James Yahr, infant son of Vicar Karl and Andrea Pfleghaar Yahr, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. Christian was born Oct. 11, 2012, in Kansas City.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Theresa, Melissa and Samantha, all of Columbia City; his grandmothers, Alice Pfleghaar of Jordan, Minn. and Janice Yahr of Daytona Beach Fla.; his aunts, Sara Pfleghaar of Shakopee, Minn. and Kim (Phil) Cordova of North Platte Neb. and several cousins.  

Christian was preceded in death by his sister, Kaydence and his grandfathers, Jim Pfleghaar and Gary Yahr. The graveside service will be held at noon Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Columbia City.
