Cheryl A. Druley, age 47, of Columbia City, passed away at 3:41 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, after becoming suddenly ill at her residence.
Born Aug. 21, 1966, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Lloyd Owen and Jayne (Fry) Druley.
She was a graduate of Columbia City High School with the Class of 1984 and she attended IPFW, Parkview Nursing School and lastly Ivy Tech in Warsaw.
Cheryl spent most of her lifetime in Columbia City, however she did live in Texas, Germany and Warsaw.
She was formerly employed with Medtronics and Lake City Enterprises both in Warsaw. She was a member of Calvary Temple and a former member of Towns of Harmony Sweet Adelines.
Survivors include her mother Jayne Druley of Columbia City and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Druley in 1994 and all of her grandparents.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Pastor Marilyn Gebert will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City.
Memorials may be given in memory of Cheryl to Gideons or the donor’s choice.
