SOUTH WHITLEY — Whitko’s tennis team fell to Central Noble Monday night, 5-0.
Though the Wildcats remain winless, Whitko Head Coach Kory Mettler said the team hasn’t given up.
“They keep playing hard and I’m really proud of them,” Mettler said. “Even though we got beat 5-0, nobody quit.”
The No. 2 doubles match was the most competitive, going to three sets. Blake Castle and Seth Patrick lost the first set 6-4, won the second 6-1 and fell 6-3 in the final set.
