Carl Sheets, 93

Carl E. Sheets, 93, of Columbia City, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Miller’s Merry Manor Inc., Columbia City.
Born on May 23, 1919, in Jefferson Towsnship, he was the son of William and Myrta M. (Boney) Sheets.
Surviving relatives include his two sons, daughter, three brothers and several grand, great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to noon. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
The funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating.
The burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Huntington. Memorial gifts may be given in Mr. Sheets memory to Zander and Zavier. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
