BYPASS BOTHER: Proposed changes to U.S. 30 put more than dollars at risk

COLUMBIA CITY — A proposal to redirect traffic around Columbia City could mean a bypass around U.S. 30 from Fort Wayne to Valparaiso.

Gov. Mike Pence has a road initiative that includes creating a quicker and safer route for commercial traffic trying to travel from one side of the state to the other.

Conexus Indiana is a group working to see the governor’s road projects are completed, and have been working on road improvements throughout the state.
