’Busco tops Fremont, 46-13

CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco’s football team got off to a strong start Friday night, beating Fremont 46-13.

The game started off with a touchdown in the first quarter by senior Jason Nicodemus within the first minute and Churubusco continued to prevail the rest of the game.

Following Nicodemus’s lead, ’Busco had two more touchdowns by the end of the first quarter, scored respectively by seniors, Jay Petrie and Cory Miller.

The score stood at 20-6 in favor of ’Busco at the end of the first quarter after senior Parker Conrad missed an extra point and Fremont scored in the last seconds of the quarter.

With a touchdown from senior Chandler Brown scored after a quick drive of 46 yards from ’Busco, the game wound down, that being the last score of the game to end the score at 46-13.

Churubusco’s season continues Friday at Central Noble.
