’Busco goes winless at invite

CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco’s volleyball team fell in pool play at its own tournament Saturday.

The Lady Eagles fell to Lakewood Park, 25-21, 25-18, lost to Shenandoah 16-25, 25-10 and 25-12 and were defeated by eventual-tournament winner Mishawaka, 25-17, 25-20.

Mishawaka defeated the winner of the other pool, Northridge, in a sweep for the tournament championship.
