Brenda L. Vance, 56, Rochester, Indiana , died Aug. 25, 2013, at 4:46 p.m. at her residence.
She was born May 18, 1957, in Wabash, to Bill and Pat (Rife) Vance.
She worked at Hart, Schafner and Marx for 25 years, McDonalds, and spent many years as a Home Caregiver.
She attended the Church of Latter Day Saints, Logansport.
Brenda truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bike riding, garage sales, and camping.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (David) Gruss of Rochester; parents, Bill and Betty Vance, Sr. of Rochester and Pat and Les Bills of Columbia City; grandmother Deloris Rife of Wabash; grandchildren, Molly and Quinn Gruss of Rochester; brothers, Chuck (Dee Dee) Bills of Findley, Ohio, Tom (Carole) Bills of Columbia City, Richard Roe of Rochester, David Roe of Akron, Bill (Deb) Vance, Jr., Brian (Vanessa) Bills, Rodney (Teresa) Bills all of Columbia City, Doug (Jana) Vance of Akron; sister, Kim (Jim) Mays of Columbia City and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Ryan Mays.
Visitation will be today, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, and one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.
