Author to speak at YFC rally

Author of “Mistaken Identity,” Newell Cerak, will be the headliner for the Whitley County Youth For Christ (YFC) “2010 Piece Rally” at the Eagle’s Nest Event Center at 7 p.m. Thursday, Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with coffee and dessert available.
Cerak is the father of Whitney Cerak, a Taylor University student who survived a tragic automobile accident in 2006, but was mistakenly identified as another student.
This is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, and admission is free. In addition to the keynote speaker, the program will emphasize the impact YFC is having at area schools and lives that have been changed. The Piece Rally will culminate with the all-important question: “Are you the missing piece YFC needs to impact Northeast Indiana’s youth?”
