ALL-AMERICAN ATHLETE: Early competes at USA youth championship

Jasmine Early recently earned All-American status competing in the 13 to 14-year-old age group at the USA Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championship.

Jasmine Early, age 12, who will be a seventh grader this fall at Indian Springs Middle School, earned All-American status, competing in the 13 to 14-year-old age group at the USA Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Bloomington June 26-29. Jasmine placed second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23 and second in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:56.

Jasmine is the daughter of David and Kim Early, and granddaughter of Mark and Tina Schory, Carolyn and Dale Snyder, and Vernita Early, all of Columbia City.
