Fifth and sixth graders in Whitley County 4-H went on a one-day trip Friday. They were awarded this trip through an application process and based on their 4-H achievement.
The group went to Fort Wayne and had a tour of Parkview Field including the Tincapsâ€™ dugout and visitorsâ€™ locker room. They then went to the Botanical Gardens and saw the butterfly display. Lunch was had at Coney Island. The day ended with a tour of DeBrandâ€™s Chocolate factory which included sampling the chocolate treats.
