28 LADIES AND PAINTING: Grace Lutheran group gets artistic

June 6, 2014

A painting workshop was held at Grace Lutheran Church recently to offer ladies a chance to test their artistic hand. Pictured are some of the 28 participants working on their canvases.

Twenty-eight ladies gathered at Grace Lutheran Church, Columbia City, in the church’s fellowship hall for an artistic project.

With the help of instructors from Bottle & Bottega, an art studio in Fort Wayne, the group learned how to paint personal master pieces.

Although the work won’t be displayed in any art gallery, the paintings are now decorating many homes.

Hannah Group, one of the women’s groups at Grace Lutheran Church, organized the event and invited friends and family for an evening of “fun and entertainment.”
